IDOR (I-niversial Development Of Ras Tafari) is a charitable Ras Tafari community development organization set up by members of the Ras Tafari collective in the Washington, D.C.-Baltimore region of the USA.
The seeds for the ideas that realize the establishment of IDOR were planted at Howard University in August 2003 with a gathering of Ras Tafari Family who were concerned to streamline and bring organizational structure to Ras Tafari community work, developments and resources, to strengthen the collective security of the Ras Tafari Family in the region, and assist Ras Tafari Family world-wide toward repatriation.  After several more gatherings, and reasoning, the irites for the name IDOR was selected, and the goals and objectives set forth, collectively, in the year of the Golden Jubilee of His Imperial Majesty Emperor Haile Selassie I the First visit to the United States.
